This charming 35m classic Dutch steel gaff rig twin screw pilot house deck saloon schooner is in amazing condition having gone through a 5-year refit 2006 in 2006. This stable motorsailer was built in 1921 by J.P. SMIT shipyard in Rotterdam with the design of Piet Smit Jr inspired by the Baltimore clippers. Originally a Nederlandse loodsshoener Dutch pilot boat which was converted by a Philadelphia cotton tycoon in 1933 and renamed by king Farouk of Egypt “Feid el Bihar” at the end of the Forties.
